Sigrid created the unusual technique she uses today for textile printing, by creating stamps she carves herself from blocks of rubber. (She actually began her career cutting her stamps from potatoes, but that's another story). Her distinctive imagery and signature sun-washed color palette have made her work iconic and timeless. Her artistry is applied to fabrics for fashion & home decor, as well as paper goods, cards, prints and paintings. It is also the basis for the art workshops she teaches on her popular international art & yoga Creative Wellbeing Retreats. These priints are reminiscent of how she started her fashion company 35 years ago. They also are the basis for her new brand, Beach to Bistro, about to debut for Resort/Spring 2021.
